Wackiness at Work

I guess I’m getting more comfortable an feeling more at home as I approach one year at work. I love the people I work with – I realize how rare it is to be able to say that!
it’s obvious from the photo below that I’ve long abandoned my effort to project gravitas and sophistication.
Sharon, one of the kids in our department, is a Hello Kitty fan. McDonalds is once again offering hello kitty dolls as a Happy Meal treat. I wore a new dress by Jean Paul Gaultier to work yesterday, and all I got was “Hey, you and Hello Kitty look like the Hamburgler”! Sigh.
Sharon gave me her “hello kitty glasses” to complete the look and what’s strange is I agreed to be photographed in them. A sign that I’m happy at work or just plain mad?
