Forrest Gump

We all ate in front of the TV tonight and we’re watching Forrest Gump. Kids seem to be enjoying the movie.
They are impressed with the special effects in the movie that allowed Tom Hanks to be digitally added to historical footage. They asked when the movie was made. When I told them it was made in 1994, they were even more impressed. Gosh, they think 1994 was in the dark ages. Funny kids. I love them to pieces.

Hanging with our girls

Today is the start of Spring Break. We took the kids out to catch the much anticipated movie, Hunger Games. We went with the Tuckers. All four girls have read the trilogy and are fans. It was a fun outing that ended with ice-cream at the Tuckers’. They are all growing up so fast. I treasure these outings. In 2 years, Sarah will be in college.

The Lorax

It’s Joe’s birthday tomorrow and we’re celebrating with the kids today by watching The Lorax with them. The Lorax was a favourite book when they were growing up. Sarah especially loved it.

Noodle Adventure

Sarah and Sophie decided to give the noodles I’ve been raving about a try. Sophie seems to live it as much as I do, but Sarah isn’t as enamoured. Off to get some ice-cream – everyone’s favourite!

SNL = Family Fun ?

We’ve come some way from watching Disney movies with the kids. Tonight, the kids have picked an SNL episode for us to watch together. Love seeing them laugh.
